ATTENTION!!! This is a major kernel problem and should be HIGH PRIORITY- the bug does not only affect skype but affects critical programs- such as Evolution Mail, PITIVI Video Editor and Crossover Pro Linux, something appears to be blocking the initialization scripts for all these programs!!! It is obviously related to PyGTK GTK packages.
UNSTABLE KERNEL ERROR UPON BOOT- symptoms HIGH PRIORITY PROBLEMATIC Hi, I am receiving an UNSTABLE KERNEL ERROR UPON BOOT, bug report has already been lodged. The bug I think may be related to the GTK/PyGTK package. Symptoms Include- 1. GTK WARNING- Skype Crash- Skype Initialization Failure. 2. SEND/RECEIVE button in Evolution Mail FADED-OUT- Unable to send/receive mail. 3. PyGTK could not be found! "No module named pygtk'- PITIVI Video Editor Crash- PITIVI Initialization Failure 4.
