OK - sorry that I've been unable to update this bug. I have four kernels on my system (currently).
kernel | attempt 1 | attempt 2 | attempt 3 -------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.32-24-gen| good | good | good 2.6.35-19-gen| bad | bad | bad 2.6.35-20-gen| good | bad | good 2.6.35-22-gen| bad | bad | good The only reason I even tried multiple boot attempts was when I was writing down 2.6.35-20 and 2.6.35-22 I wanted to re-confirm that the results I had. And they differed. Let me know if I should try any additional kernel versions. -- X does not start (nouveau) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/640432 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
