Let me attempt a more complete description. I was viewing a folder in
Nautilus. This happened to be a network mounted folder mounted via smb4k.

I cannot exactly say why it happened, but the entire icon view became
misaligned. There is an invisible row-column grid in which icons are placed
normally. This causes each icon to be aligned properly on the invisible
grid. The attached screenshot will correctly depict what I consider to be
normally and properly aligned icons inside a nautilus folder view.

Please contrast this with the screenshot I had given earlier where the icons
are not aligned at all.

The two sceenshots should make it clear as to what I am trying to
report.
