opengles-sgx-omap3-3.01.00.07/debian/opengles-sgx-omap3.udev contains: KERNEL=="pvrsrvkm", GROUP="users", MODE="0666"
This mode is dangerous. From IRC, this should follow what regular dri uses: ls -l /dev/dri/card0 crw-rw----+ 1 root video 226, 0 2010-10-01 10:35 /dev/dri/card0 $ getfacl /dev/dri/card0 getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names # file: dev/dri/card0 # owner: root # group: video user::rw- user:jamie:rw- group::rw- mask::rw- other::--- Regular users are not in the 'video' group anymore, but 0666 is not correct. Not sure what sets the facl, but it might be gdm. Should contact RAOF from the desktop team for help. I am going to reject opengles-sgx-omap3 3.01.00.07-0ubuntu1 for now. Please feel free to reupload. The package otherwise looks ok for multiverse. -- [needs-packaging] opengles-sgx-omap3 and powervr-omap3 need to be packaged for maverick https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/652347 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
