Hi Toby, on my Ubuntu Lucid system the selected language is Italian (selected during Ubuntu installation process) and the system is updated. I'm not a programmer and I'm only a medium Linux user, and I don't know what are exactly the "QT packages" you are talking about: with Synaptic I did a search using "qt" as a keyword and the result has been a very long list, so I'm not able to understand how I can check something about these packages on my computer (perhaps someone is missing?). One question: I thought that "QT packages" provide the translation of general strings (like the names of the buttons in the dialog boxes), while, on the contrary, I thought that the MuseScore program strings was stored and handled via the specific *.qm file (in this case the mscore_it.qm file). Am I wrong? Best regards Antonio
