Same problem here on vanilla Ubuntu 10.4. All Jack connections set up, there's no audio. The audio mixer does not show any signal.
Interestingly, when playing audio from the Audio File Manager, there *is* audible JACK playback and signal is showing in the audio mixer of Rosegarden both on Audio #1 and master volume as well as the mini vu meter in the first audio track. However when the audio track is tragged to channel 17 (untitled audio) and assigned Audio #1 and Play is clicked on main transport control, there is no sound at all.
