I applied it to linux-backports-modules-2.6.32-2.6.32/updates/wwan-drivers, got it built and loaded and I now have 3 ttyUSBx devices. Though I can't seem to get anything out of the gps. A few other people have commented on this on thinkwiki: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Qualcomm_Gobi_2000 So I guess it needs further investigation.
