Sorry if this has already been addressed:
Running 10.04 on Lenovo 3000 V100, machine was going into suspend without 
issues until I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.32-25-generic a couple of days ago. I 
tried the solution on post #13 but it gives me:

bash: /sys/bus/usb/devices/usb1/power/wakeup: Permission denied

even when running it under sudo
