** Description changed: Binary package hint: language-selector - boot on a live-CD of Ubuntu 10.10 RC - go to System->Administration->Language (or type "gnome-language-selector" in a terminal) - install the Japanese Input Methods (only the input methods, not the translation packages) - - when installation is finished, the window becomes busy, see the 3 screenshots attached. + - when installation is finished, the window becomes busy (you can see the mouse cursor stays round when above the window) and the window decoration disappears, and there is an error in the terminal.
