Hello, thank you for your answer! Actually you are right, I had two microphones (it was shown just in the alsa mixer not in the Input panel of sound preference). But I have selected the correct one. Anyway I "solved" the problem by installing the new version of alsa driver (1.0.23) by hands. Nevertheless, I cannot claim this was the problem, because I didn't try to reinstall the previous version. Everything is working now, anyway I will wait for the 10.10 for a clean installation.
