** Description changed: I've had this problem ever since Intrepid. It hasn't bothered me as much, but since now ath5k is totally open source, maybe there can be a fix. OS: Ubuntu Jaunty/Karmic Drivers: Madwifi (madwifi) for Jaunty and ath5k for Karmic. All other system information can be found inside of the tar file. The system I've used is still the same. It seems that on occasion my wireless card will refuse to turn on during specific boots. There's no error message as to why it wouldn't turn on, but it just...doesn't.
