How to reproduce:

* Press 'New...' in User tab
* in the new user dialog that popps up, delete the  Primary Group entry:, so 
it's empty
* Confirm with 'Ok'

==>

[0]r...@alleehol:~# tail -1 /etc/group
::1002:


That the primary group is not properly validted is especially dangerous, due to 
the fact that the 'primary group' entry is selected by default when the dialog 
comes up.
