Hello, I dont know if that will help anyone but i found that in my case, even with connected TV Card and line in with a sound card i had no sound. Found out that i just didnt have a loopback module loaded. After loading it : http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=8308073&postcount=3 I still get a warning about no mixer and cant use volume control in programs but have sound.
