This appears to be the same as 658197 -- the bug is actually in util- linux.
While that bug obviously needs to be fixed, I wonder if switching to pam-mount would be a good idea, since it's more general? Unfortunately, pam-mount also has a nasty bug, in that it doesn't pass options to mount properly (I'll be filing that one when I'm sure of just how to describe the symptoms -- the short form is it doesn't pass the '-o' and the options themselves as separate arguments, as required by mount).
