Gwibber never worked properly in Lucid, right up to the release of
10.10. Now we have put out another OS and marketed it also as "social
from the start," and Gwibber has failed us again. I'm confused as to why
this was never given more priority when it's marketed as one of Ubuntu's
main features that set it apart from other OS's? I love Ubuntu, and I'm
grateful for all the professionals who take pride in their work.
However, it seems we have really dropped the ball on this one. I notice
the bug report still has no one assigned to fix it, and in my view this
should have been fixed immediately. I hope we don't have to wait for
11.04 to be social from the start. With respect, Les.
