Strange, I've always thought I'm limited by the disk performance...Althought my tests seemed to be curbed at a certain level, I hoped it was just a bug, not a limitation. Is there any documentation for eCryptfs regarding its read/write performance limits? Or it's just typical for encrypted filesystems?
