Binary package hint: spyder
When you install 'spyder' it doesn't show up in the Applications >
Programming menu.
Since the current version of spyder (1.0.3) has some other bugs* which
have been fixed already, I'd suggest to upgrade to a more recent
version.
*) One bug for instance is the inability to use tabs for indentations,
the program automatically switches to a certain number of spaces.
** Affects: spyder (Ubuntu)
