This seems also to be related to the bug 98795 I raised. Not only you can't remove CD-ROM but if you click on any options in software source dialog shown by in the screenshot.png dialog will endup by corrupting the source.lust.
I think this bug is very serious as no other application that reads the source.list will return the error I put in bug 98795. Try doing an ubuntu software update and you'll see the error message. Unless this bug is corrected. the software source dialog can't be used.
