Public bug reported: I have a pc with two monitor attached to a radeon hd2400 using fglrx I have upgrade from karmic to maverick. the upgrade went fine. The login screen comes up with no problem. If i try to login (even with recovery console) the screen become blank and after few time return to the login screen. If i stop gdm and start X with startx from command line with the user everything works great
