I can confirm this. Every time I open TB, two master password prompts (security device) are displayed (one in front of TB and one behind) when Thunderbird and lightning are enabled together and have a master password to unlock the security device (encrypted passwords), two exact same master password prompts are presented when starting Thunderbird.
