Public bug reported: Binary package hint: apport
Following on from bug #662131, At present, report-bug does not accept either program name or window- title; it would be nice if a mapping database is available. Debian's report-bug accepts the program name, and uses .dpkg info to determine the package; the latter would need a bit of effort to provide and keep up-to-date the database. Ideally, a user should be able to select a GUI program by clicking on its window, in the style of xwininfo/xkill.
