I also see this on Feisty beta using:

  ii nvidia-glx 1.0.9755+2.6.2 NVIDIA binary XFree86 4.x/X.Org driver
ii linux-restrict 2.6.20.13.10 Restricted Linux modules for generic kernels

>From the generated xorg.conf (attached in its entirety):

  Section "Device"
        Identifier "Generic Video Card"
        Driver "nvidia"
        BusID "PCI:0:5:0"
  EndSection

>From Xorg.0.log:

  (II) NVIDIA dlloader X Driver 1.0-9755 Mon Feb 26 23:23:13 PST 2007
(II) NVIDIA Unified Driver for all Supported NVIDIA GPUs
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0
(WW) NVIDIA: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:0) found
  (EE) No devices detected.

  Fatal server error:
  no screens found

lspci says:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 110M
/ GeForce Go 7300 (rev a1)

Fixed by replacing xorg.conf with an old one I had lying around.
