Binary package hint: xorg
While using kubuntu with nouveau (with or without libgl1-mesa-dri-
experimental installed), suddenly x.org starts to use 100% cpu and the
desktop freezes. i can still move the mousepointer, but not click
anymore.
Using the nvidia binary driver this does not happen.
I think the common thing i found with the "crashes" was that i was doing
some heavy IO operation. Once it was copying large amount of files, and
the other 2 times i was burning a dvd.
I hope this can get fixed. Kde with the binary drivers is really slow
after an hour (with nouveau it really flies!).
