I can confirm this issue; whenever i'm connecting to a KVM guest via KRDC the colors seem to be inverted somehow. The colors are *correct* when using "xtightvncviewer" for example.
It's probably related to the already fixed KDE Bug #247149 ( https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247149 ), so maybe a fix for Meerkat is straightforward?
