You are exactly right -- I upgraded and am all set now.

Thanks so much for your help!

Subject: [Bug 663043] Re: Can't print to wireless printer

During printer setup a wrong driver (HP Color LaserJet 4500) was
assigned to your printer. Perhaps the version of Ubuntu which you are
using does not yet support your printer. I have checked Lucid and
Maverick and Lucid supports (and auto-selects) the HP Officejet 4500
g510g-m, which should be the same printer. Maverick supports your HP
Officejet 4500 g510n-z explicitly.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?

Can you also post the output of the command

lpinfo -l -v

I just bought a new wireless printer and am trying to print from my
laptop -- I can see the wireless printer but when I do a test page I get the
message above - thanks in advance for any help you can provide
