Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cheese
Tried different resolutions using a logitech quickcam. When NOT recording, the moving image is fluent, but when pressing the record-button the capture screen becomes black for a few seconds and then it starts recording. But the capture screen is not fluent anymore. When playing the captured video it is the same. I discovered the problem because my much higher resolution TerraTec webcam started to crash the system completely (it used to work ok, at least before 10.10), but those crashes are due to other problems which I cannot file in a regular bug report, as it crashes the system... And not due to Cheese.
