I confirm that suspend/resume works very well on my dell precision M4500 with kernel 2.6.36 just released and ubuntu 10.10 amd64. It was not working with standard kernel for maverick 2.6.35
I followed suggestion #129 using kernel 2.6.36 taken from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.36-maverick/ Up to now there is no need to apply: sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/94cpufreq since resume seems to work also running on battery without problems I am also using latest nvidia drivers 260.19.12: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nvidia-current nvidia-settings -- [arrandale] Resume doesn't work on a Latitude E6410 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578673 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
