Public bug reported: Binary package hint: metacity
$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 $ apt-cache policy metacity metacity: Installed: 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Looking in gconf-editor at /apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_window_screenshot, the default value is "<Alt>Print". This shortcut does not work for me. Nothing happens when I press the shortcut. /apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_screenshot has a value of "Print", but that shortcut works correctly (it takes a screenshot of the entire screen). Changing the window_screenshot value to "<Alt>q" for example works as expected. Pressing ALT+Q grabs the currently active window. Changing back to "<Alt>Print" effectively disables the functionality. I have desktop effects (compiz) completely disabled. ** Affects: metacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- <Alt>Print not valid shortcut for window screenshot grab in metacity https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665160 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
