let me amend my report: e16 1.0.3 does let me move windows with alt+mouse button 1 but not by dragging the window from the top bar. minimize/maximize is also broken Downgrading e16 to the karmic version (lucid is broken too), and restarting e16 on the running X session fixes the problem: minimize/maximize works again and moving windows by dragging them from the top bar works again
