Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bash-completion
This used to work, but ever since upgrading to 10.10, it's broken. Here's the problem: h...@tardis:/tmp$ mkdir "omg wow awesome" h...@tardis:/tmp$ cd om awesome omg wow That's just not helpful. That's ONE directory - why is it completing like 3 different entities. My workaround currently is to do this: h...@tardis:/tmp$ cd om* h...@tardis:/tmp/omg wow awesome$ This is terrible. I'd appreciate any fixes. Cheers. ** Affects: bash-completion (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cd space -- tab completion of cd on directories with space characters https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665899 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
