Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rails

Dear maintainers,
It seems that you have accidentally imported and then frozen unfixed Debian bug
http://bugs.debian.org/583219 (renaming /usr/share/rails to .../rails-ruby1.8
breaks 'vendor/*' symlinks in Rails applications, which causes 'Missing Rails
gem' errors).
It would be so nice to import this simple fix into Ubuntu package in Maverick
(I know that it will get into Natty but waiting 6 months is not interesting
anyway).
Thank you in advance for your attention .

** Affects: rails (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
