Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Hello 6 days ago I downloaded Ubuntu for the first time. I am using Ubuntu 10.10 I cannot play my DVD's and I have wasted most of the last week trying to sort the problem out I try to enter code into the terminal and then I am asked for my password...I can get no further as the system doesn't accept my password :-( I have wanted to try this operating system out for a number of years, but I feel this is all above me. Sorry but if you could help me - I would be very thankful Regards Andy Patch ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: gnome-terminal 2.32.0-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Oct 24 20:05:44 2010 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-terminal InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- I am unable to view DVD's... https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666006 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
