The same problem for me, on an Asus eeepc 901, with a fresh install of
Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook edition.

I've checked kernel boot messages using "dmesg", and I've seen a
suggestion to update my BIOS.

I have done the BIOS update, and after that the error messages were
gone, but only during the firsts two boots. Now, the "udev[80] worker
.." error messages are present on every boot again.
