** Description changed: Impact: data corruption when using GlusterFS with certain options set. Patch: http://patches.gluster.com/patch/2781/ Reproducing: http://bugs.gluster.com/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=639 Regression potential: none known - - I was looking through the Changelog of GlusterFS 3.0.4 to find new items - since GlusterFS 3.0.2 and I found a data corruption bug. I went back to - the package in Lucid which is based on glusterfs_3.0.2-1.debian and I - could not find evidence that this bug was fixed there. As an interim fix I did a backport of GlusterFS 3.0.4 from Maverick to Lucid https://launchpad.net/~nutznboltz/+archive/glusterfs3 so my systems are safe. This is the upstream Changelog message: commit c55134fc0c5ebe952de12757d5c53d463a9c21b5 Author: Anand Avati <av...@gluster.com> Date: Thu Feb 18 10:28:06 2010 +0000 server_writev: add proper iobuf into iobref this typo results in corruption when write-behind is loaded on server side Signed-off-by: Anand V.
