Using polkit-gnome-authorization doesn't work for me (it only displayes the
org.freedesktop.policykit tree), neither does editing
/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.SystemToolsBackends.policy or
/etc/PolicyKit/PolicyKit.conf
I think this might be because of policykit doesn't parse SystemToolsBackends
for some reason (the syntax seems OK though):
polkit-config-file-validate
/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.SystemToolsBackends.policy
[WARN 3378] skipping unknown tag <policyconfig> at line 5 of
/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.SystemToolsBackends.policy
... and so on for every line in the file

This is happening on Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, system-tools-backends
2.9.4-0ubuntu1
