Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
I am behind a http firewall with authentication. I see the account data and usage in Ubuntu one preferences but I'm unable to connect. Disconnected state is displayed. I managed to register and get account data only after this Hack: add to /etc/apt/apt.conf: Acquire::http::proxy "http://user:p...@proxy.xxxx.xxxx:port"; Before I did this I was unable to register and the message: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'makefile' was displayed. Ubuntu one is not using proxy configurations or there is a problem with proxy authentication. see: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1602349 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1606175 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: ubuntuone-client 1.4.4.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Oct 27 18:55:39 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubuntuone-client UbuntuOneClientConfig: [ubuntuone] connected = True connect = 2 show_applet = 1 bookmarked = True UbuntuOneSyncdaemonExceptionsLog: ** Affects: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick ubuntuone -- "ubuntu one" not connecting with proxy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/667397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
