I downloaded the script and tried running it. It printed an informative message about what it was doing and then stopped without producing any visible diagnostic info. I looked at the help and tried running it with the option "--output alsainfo". This time it uploaded the collected information to alsa-project.org (without context, I'd guess) but did not stash it anywhere I could find it. The file alsa-info was not in the current directory.
