Users who have installed the PPA already don't need to take any special action -- your system's "Update Manager" will take care of upgrading the PPA automatically. The updated kernel incorporates the latest changes from the official Ubuntu Maverick kernel, but no new changes to the experimental intel_backlight mechanism.
