I know that the bug was fixed upstream, but i still have it in version
1.0.6-1ubuntu1.2

So the practical question is - what can i do about it? Is there any way
i can have a working x264 encoding in VLC? Prefarably without geeky
stuff like compiling, ubuntu is supposed to be linux for human beings
after all.

Thank you in advance!
