** Attachment added: "Log from apt (describing updates since last worked)" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/672644/+attachment/1727011/+files/apt_history.log
** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg This week my laptop stopped detecting the right resolution on an external projector. Wednesday Nov 3d I was still able to use the full resolution (1280×1024) - of the Epson EB-S6 projector. Today the max resolution is 1368×768, + of the Epson EB-S6 projector. Today the max resolution is 1360×768, which is displayed distorted. The only other resolution available is 1024×768. Between these two sessions I did not do anything with my computer besides normal browsing and OO.o work. The log of updates is attached. - Ubuntu 10.10 fully updated HP NX7400 Let me add how grateful I am when this tricky area "just works", which it did with Maverick, and how distressed when 25+ Windows users only see Ubuntu in a crammed, pixelized frame. Thank you for your work.
