Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdeutils
krcdnotifier item fails when starting complaining that it couldn't find solidremotecontrolmanager service. This service is packed with kdebase-workspace-bin. The end result is that the notifier icon is not shown, and when the configuration applet is manually started with kcmshell4 kcm_remotecontrol , it complains that no remotes where available. Since I don't understand why anyone would like to install kremotecontrol if it's not to actually be able to use a remote control, I believe kremotecontrol should depend on kdebase-workspace-bin, which makes it work.
