Please make this optional. I sometimes tag photos temporary while searching for information and after I'm finished I delete these tags. The problem here is when the files are actually changed the backup program will notice that and backup all those files (and maybe twice!). So for me it would be great if I had an option to actually write the information to the image files on demand.
