@Davide You can ignore my previous questions because it looks like the Synaptics driver is working properly with your touchpad now. Can you share what you did to resolve the problem? It might help someone else with the same problem.
2 finger emulation is the best that you are going to get without multitouch support. Try to use the synclient to determine the best values for the following options in your 50-synaptics.conf file: Option "EmulateTwoFingerMinW" "5" Option "EmulateTwoFingerMinZ" "90" The W and Z values should both change a little bit when you add/remove the second finger.
