This happens to me too. The problem is: whenever I maximize a window, I cannot click any of the buttons to minimize/unmaximize/close. I've encountered this release on the early version of Feisty/Compiz (can't remember which, say 1 month ago), and everything worked until today (05 Apr 2007) I upgraded the system and downloaded the compiz upgrade too (now I have 0.3.6-1ubuntu13).
I think I've seen something about the maximize event on the changelog, but I can't remember nor check it now. The problem appears using the metacity theme or the compiz native theme for the window decorations.
