Thanks for the flowers, but what "I did" is not a fix :) And I agree with the devs that the topic isn't solved easily. People have very different habbits and "in my/your oppinion"-weird layouts may be useful to others. However, I also agree with you that at least some options (that extend the current default behavior) could be implemented rather quickly. Anyways, this is open source and we love it. So don't expect something to be done quickly... or do it yourself and provide a patch ;-) I can't do it.
