This still affects me on Maverick. The emblem does not change. If I place a couple of small files in the folder the emblem quickly switches to green, without going to to green/blue. In this case, if I place more files in the folder, the emblem stays green - does not switch to green/blue. It seems stuck. PS. sure thing, after logging out/in the emblem changes.
