Public bug reported: Binary package hint: simple-scan
I was scanning a several page document in simple-scan. While adding a page I decided to arrange the pages in a different order. So i moved a page backword (left), and then I was going to move the page that was being scanned. I clicked and moved the page left, and the page with the turning symbol (indicating loading) moved left to where I wanted it. Except it kept turning. So I looked back at the last page and saw it was overwritten with the content that I expected to see on the page with the turning symbol. I had to scan both pages again after deleting them, then move them around, to get the desired outcome.
