This bug still exists in lucid (LTS), shouldn't this fix be backported from maverick? I realize this package is in universe and not in main, but IMHO it is still quite popular and the bug is relatively serious (making xpdf effectively unusable)... Shouldn't it be trivial to backport only the relevant patch? Please...
