Public bug reported:
I can usually work with the notebook about 7 hours running on battery.
But sometimes (lets say once every 2 weeks) the energy consumption suddenly
increases from ~8 to ~14 Watts without any reason. Then this will stay until
reboot.
I noticed when this happened:
- The HDD status LED (usually blinking when opening/saving files) is shining
permanently without any exception.
- Remaining battery time is dropping to ~60% as it was before
- When i go to the Power Statistics Window and select "Processor" I can see an
entry " IRQ19 " with 9999 Interrupts/second
Normally I have about 90 Interrupts/second globally (mouse stands still).
- Going into suspend-to-RAM wont work when this bug appears.
