Recently installed Xubuntu 10.10 on Latitude d505 and I have two
probelms: the Adobe Flashplayer sounds glitchy and the wireless
connection fails for lack of the proper firmware.Have already tried the
on-board alternative drivers. I'm thinking that the Latitude d505 may be
especially tricky to configure the wireless.PS other CPUs in the house
pick up the wireless just fine.THANKS!!!!!!
